Uncle Steve's Visit

James's brother Steve had a seminar an hour and a half from us this week. He added an extra day to the trip and came and saw us after the seminar was over. It was so great to see him! Almost ;) every time we are with family, I realize how much we miss them, and I try to figure out ways to be closer to them literally and/or figuratively. This was one of those visits. We didn't have time to do too much together, but the time we had was wonderful. The kids loved getting to know their uncle, and they met their match in the joke and riddle telling world. He remembers and tells them faster than my kids can and that's saying something! Michael has been singing, "There's no plate like chrome for the Hollandaise" all evening. If you want to know that joke, you'll have to call -- Steve (just kidding!) I actually was the one to tell it the elders that we had for dinner tonight :) It was also fun for all of us to get to talk to Tamara and the kids with Steve here. Family is where it's at.
