A Fence for Spring Break

James worked enough overtime in the weeks before Spring Break that his company allowed him to use that time to take almost all of Spring Break off! With that great turn of events we decided it was time to put in a fence. It was a lot of hard work, and we both are feeling muscles we'd forgotten we have, but thanks to some good power tool rentals and some good workers, we are all but done. We just need to attach the gates that are built to the holes in the fence. This was a new undertaking for us, but it went really quite well. Projects always take longer than you wish -- one night we were out trying to get a little more done as we worked by the light of headlamps on each of us!

The Young Man on the left is James's Home Teaching companion. We hired him and his friend to come and help us out for two of the days. We all enjoyed working together.
Michael was a great help a lot of the time too. We put him to work outside while Katherine did a lot of watching the little ones inside -- and she came out to take pictures occasionally. It truly was a family project.

Matthew is always a great little buddy to have involved. He loves being a part of any kind of work or project. Especially one as exciting as this!

Hopefully more finished fence pictures will follow.
