Today's Quotable Quotes

I've decided I should keep a record of at least a few of the cute things the kids say. So here are today's Quotable Quotes:

We've had snow this week and today we had to drive through a big rain storm that made our trip to the temple an hour longer than the normal hour and a half. Michael and Sarah started complaining, "Why does it have to rain?" . . . "It is raining so much today!" . . . "It has rained 2 or 3 times today!" . . . Then Matthew in his four-year-old wisdom piped up, "Guys, it has to rain because the clouds got too heavy."

This one is in reference to renting Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel. Michael who saw it in school said, "It's o.k., but I don't really like it because people are always getting hurt. Dave goes to the hospital, and then Dave's ancestor goes to the hospital. It's just not pleasant!" (It's so ironic that my all-boy boy that doesn't mind rough-housing and other random acts of mischief and violence cannot stand it in movies. It has always made him run for cover or hide his head or something.)
