On Friday Michael was home from school sick and it was one of those long winter days. I finally realized that the only way we were going to get through the day "in a good way" was for me to quit trying to get things done and to do something with the kids. So I borrowed an idea from my sister's blog and we made snowmen. Sarah and Matthew had a great time and were so proud of their snowmen in the end. If we'd have had more cotton balls Michael would have even made one -- they looked so fun he got off his sick sofa to come join us! Thanks for a great idea, Miriam (and your mother-in-law)!
