Growing Up -- Make-up and Toddler Beds

We got bunk beds for Christmas this year which has allowed us to move all the kids 'up' into new beds. Sarah has been in a toddler bed and is now in the lower bunk. Matthew has still been in the crib, and Joanna has been in the bassinet (or car seat mostly). So we've had to adjust to Matthew not being in a crib. He's loved his bed all along and has always taken a nap without tears. I'd just put him in it and he'd go to sleep. Well, now that he's in a Toddler bed we had a few days of transition. One night this past week we didn't put up the gate at his door. While James and I we downstairs he snuck out of his room and got into my make-up. It was a bit breath-taking. The good part is that Matthew knows where mascara goes and so the only mess we found was around his eyes.
