James recently returned from 10 days overseas. He worked for a week in Morroco and then took advantage of his layover in Paris to spend three days there. He had a great trip! We're glad he had these great opportunities, but we are sure happy to have him back home!
James took two red-eye flights to get to Casablanca, Morocco. He then caught a train to take him to Marrakesh where he met up with a university professor there. They together traveled by car to Beni Mellal to work. This is James overlooking Beni Mellal.
One of the most impressive things for James in Paris was size of the Eiffel Tower. He wasn't prepared for how massive it is! He loved seeing it through the eyes of a civil engineer and was amazed at its design and structure. He is quite certain that there is a very large safety factor on the design!
